Turtle Print

The Turtle print was created in honor of Rocky, a green sea turtle that lives on a popular dive site in Islamorada, FL. After seeing him for years on guided scuba dives, the Wanderlust founder, Justin Benson, one day found Rocky to be in a lethargic state.

The boat crew got Rocky out of the water and transported to the Turtle Hospital in Marathon, FL. Turns out, Rocky had eaten a plastic bag - commonly mistaken as one of turtle's favorite foods, a jellyfish. Lots of hydration and laxatives later, Rocky passed the bag and was free to return to sea. The same boat crew was able to take Rocky back to the dive site where he still greets divers today. We are proud to have this artwork to represent Rocky's resiliency and to remind us of the impacts we have on the ocean every day.
